Let's pause
November 2024
Welcome to my monthly exploration of building products, learning in public, and finding my way as a generalist in tech. I share my pains, questions, insights hoping they will help someone on their quest.
✔️Accountability check (from last month)
Keep making my clients happy - Kept the focus on delivering value
Post more on X - Actually posted less on X (23 vs 24 posts), tried memes but engagement wasn't there
Make more progress on Dowe.do as I got access to Bubble’s mobile beta - Currently on pause we realized we need a solid marketing plan before pushing forward (couldn't get enough people on waitlist to justify time on it)
Post 2 videos on Youtube - Zero videos published, ball completely dropped here
❌ Pains
November unveiled a critical insight: my undefined objectives were clouding my perspective. Without clear benchmarks, I felt my efforts perpetually fell short—not from imposter syndrome, but from an ambiguous understanding of what constitutes success.
❓Questions
What is my long-term vision?
How can I have better boundaries?
Is my calendar aligned with my objectives?
💡 Insights
This question really stuck with me this month. In the really long term I know I want to be part of a Product Studio. Still need to refine how to get there though.
I tend to think about work after work and I think I need a break. Just bought a PS5, let's see if it helps lol
I tried a new organisation of my time. Clients calls on Tuesday and Thursday. Maker days on Monday, Wednesday and Friday... Let's see how it goes!
🏆 Wins
Identified why I was feeling I was not doing enough
Got more curious about prospection, I am currently testing La Growth Machine.
Paid for some coaching and really enjoyed the process
Managed to publish this edition, wasn’t looking good to begin with
🗓️ Next month plan
Take time to define a path to that Product Studio dream. (Need both short terms and mid terms goals).
